Market Day

On Thursday the 24th of November 2011 we had our makert day.It was a huge success.We were set up outside Room 10 in the nice hot sun.At the start we didn't have much luck (money wise).When all the childern came we stared getting heaps of money from the School and Parents.

We had made a roster for the day, it didn't quite goes as expected.After about 2 hours of hard work we sold out,after having a 15 minute half price sale.The Parents LOVED our products as did the whole school.Our venture made a total 141 moolah which rounds it up to $44.40.Market day was awesome so wigginery and all of winton school would just like to say thank you Miss Brown and Miss Robertson for making PrEP the best day ever!

MARKET RESEARCH DAY

This week we've been focusing on what customers thought were popular.We had to first make a questioner to interview the year 3 to year 8 kids.They thought the rubbers were the best which had our Wigginery logo on it which is a penguin.Next was a the pencils with a big bow on the top.For that everyone liked the colour pink.We also made pens and sharpers but they did not turn out as well so we are only doing pencils, rubbers and sharpers.We have decided on all the colours and now we are on to making our posters to put around the school and our advertising add.

Moolah is the name of the money that was given out to the groups for great team that then goes in our cash book and we can spend that money to buy things for our venture.We each filled out a CV and Miss Brown then read them and gave us a job .Bianca and Henry got joint CEO which means they are in charge of the group and goes to Miss Brown when there is a problem in the group and other times.Jamie got Marketing Manger which means she markets the venture and helps designs the venture. Joel got designer which means he design the venture.Adam H got Financial Manger which takes care of the money and in charge of bank book and filling it in.We also filled out our 5 P's plan.

Our venture groups were chosen randomly but we have grown to work well as a team. We brainstormed our top 5 ideas which we narrowed down to the top 3. Which we then did a decision grid that we all decided on Brain freezers which is a slushy with ice cream on top. Every group then had to rethink their ideas which we then decided on Wigginery, we all loved the idea on selling stationery to our fellow pupils.
